The competitive league requires the help of several volunteers to run smoothly. Here is a list of the volunteer positions. Can you help?

SUBSTITUTE CO-ORDINATOR
- maintains the list of substitutes
- acts as as the main contact for teams unable to arrange their own substitutes
- if you love talking on the phone and e-mailing, you can be easily reached during the day especially on Mondays and Tuesdays, and you can commit to returning calls/messages promptly, this job is for you!

COMPETITIVE LEAGUE GYM ADMINISTRATORS (2)
- ensures proper timing of matches and recording of scores at both gyms
- reports scores and standings to each other so that people at both gyms know what is going on

SCHEDULER
- creates the schedule for pool play and round-robin for the rest of the season
- modifies the schedule around unforseen gym closures such that teams play, officiate, get time off and use each court evenly
- brings the scoring template every night
- if you have an aptitude for combinatorial mathematics, have spreadsheet or database skills, access to e-mail and a printer, and can only help out a few times a year but not every week, this job is for you!

STATISTICIAN
- collects scoresheets every night (ie. must stay even if your team gets to leave early)
- compiles Win, Loss, Default, Point, Differential and percentage statistics
- updates TSVL webpage and brings updated statistics to the gym every week
- if you love big numbers, this is the job for you!

EQUIPMENT MANAGER
- tracks who has the equipment bag
- arranges for a different team to take the equipment bag every week
- monitors condition of equipment so that replacements can be purchased

RECORDING SECRETARY
- keeps minutes of team rep meetings and decisions
- must attend all team rep meetings or arrange for a substitute recording secretary
- if you like listening to discussions and can record points without editorialising, this job is for you!

FACILITIES MANAGER
- acts as liaison with the caretaking staff to make sure the league is honouring its permit commitments and keeping the caretakers happy
- locates caretakers if equipment is unavailable at the beginning of the evening or if balls become trapped in the overhead gear during the evening
- helps teach the teams assigned to setting up the nets how to do it properly

PURCHASING CO-ORDINATOR
- helps teams acquire uniforms and equipment as needed
- acts as liaison for bulk purchases, logo screening, delivery and pick-up
