TSVL Player Development

The goal of TSVL Development is to promote learning and improvement in volleyball to its members, in turn, fostering growth in the league and to the sport.

Various types of clinics are offered to allow members the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge:

a)      Captains and Leaders Development Clinics

b)      Player Development Clinics

c)       Referee Clinics

All clinics are free and are only available to members of TSVL.  Register with Harvey Quan, Development Director – development@tsvl.org

Captains and Leaders Development Clinics

The Captains and Leaders Development clinics are for captains, team leaders, and all who are interested in those roles.  The clinics will cover what you should know, responsibilities, and a technical portion (be dressed in your volleyball gear).

Player Development Clinics

The Player Development clinics are structured to develop fundamental skills and knowledge.  Three clinics are offered per term and are progressive, each session building upon the last – however, missing a session does not exclude you from participating in another.

Referee Clinics

The Referee Clinics consist of a classroom portion and a practical session on the next night of regular competitive division play.  Players who have attended a TSVL Referee Clinic in the past and want a refresher can attend the second part of the classroom session, but all participants will have to do the practical session.
